New Pew Study

Yesterday, Pew released a study that might be of interest to all of us who deal with first-years.  It's called How Teens Do Research in the Digital Age.

The survey respondents are middle and high school teachers, not the students themselves, which makes the emphasis a bit different from what Alison Head is doing in her PIL passages studies.

If you're interested in reading the latest PIL report, by the way, which is a qualitative study of recent graduates' experiences in the workforce, it's available on the publications page.
